    Dr. Michael Curiel

    FOUNDER & LEAD DENTIST

    With over 30 years of experience in family and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Michael Curiel brings both skill and compassion to every patient he serves. His passion for dentistry comes from a genuine desire to help others look and feel their best, so they can thrive in every aspect of life.

    Dr. Curiel graduated from UCLA in 1981 and immediately opened his first practice in San Fernando, California. In 2009, he brought his vision of comprehensive, patient-centered care to the Coachella Valley by founding Sunlife Dental Group.

    Over the years, Dr. Curiel has developed expertise in general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and implants. He stays at the forefront of dental innovations by regularly attending seminars and advanced training courses, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest techniques, materials, and technology.

    Dr. Claire Guillemin (“Dr. G”)

    DENTIST

    Dr. Claire Guillemin, known to her patients as Dr. G, is a detail-oriented, compassionate dentist who takes pride in helping patients achieve optimal oral health. She earned her DDS degree from the USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry and went on to complete a residency in Advanced General Dentistry. During this time, she discovered and fell in love with the Coachella Valley, which she is now proud to call home.

    Dr. G is committed to providing exceptional care and continually expands her knowledge through ongoing continuing education courses. Her dedication ensures that every patient benefits from the most current techniques in dentistry.

    Outside the office, Dr. G enjoys staying active and spending time with her family. She loves working out, playing Scrabble, riding her motorcycle, and—most of all—rollerblading up and down desert hills with her favorite music playing.

    Cristina Figueroa

    HYGIENIST

    With a reputation for a remarkably soft touch, our dental hygienist brings more than 30 years of hands-on experience to every patient visit. A proud graduate of Loma Linda University, she is dedicated to making each appointment both comfortable and educational. As a member of the California Dental Hygienists Association, she continually completes courses to stay up to date with new ideas and skills, ensuring high-quality, pain-free care.

    She believes great oral health starts with understanding, taking the time to clearly and reassuringly explain techniques, daily habits, and preventive care.

    Bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish, she connects effortlessly with a diverse patient community, ensuring no one feels rushed, confused, or unheard. In addition to her work as a hygienist, her background as a dental assistant gives her a uniquely well-rounded clinical perspective that enhances collaboration and continuity of care.

    Outside the office, she is deeply family-oriented and enjoys spending time with loved ones, staying active, and pursuing hobbies that keep her balanced and energized. Her warmth, experience, and commitment to excellence make her not just a provider, but a trusted partner in long-term oral health.
